Mission and Purpose
Yon Nouvel Vizyon Pou Devlopman is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of the people of Dame Marie, Haiti. Born out of love for our hometown and concern for its future, our mission is to create lasting change through development, education, community support, and cultural preservation.
Our story
Our journey began when Pastor Pierre Paul Joseph witnessed firsthand the urgent needs in Dame Marie, from damaged roads and limited schools to homes threatened by rising sea levels. He took to the airwaves, rallying support and raising awareness through local radio. From this grassroots movement, Yon Nouvel Vizyon Pou Devlopman was born—fueled by community passion and the will to make a difference.
Our Vision
We envision a stronger, self-sufficient Dame Marie, where every resident has access to opportunities, education, safety, and the tools to build a better life—while proudly preserving their cultural roots. We also strive to develop one of the Caribbean’s most beautiful coastal park attractions—designed to draw tourism and create sustainable sources of income for the people of Dame Marie.
